Start Again originally began as a love track, as most of mine do. It went from the chorus being "Let's start again, I think we could be friends, and start again", to "Let's start again, I think we could pretend, and start again". I took the idea of starting over in order to do things differently this time.
lyrics
Verse 1
There’s nothing wrong with you, and nothing wrong with me
If only it were that easy
You dig up memories, and bury whatever you please
If only it were that easy
Chorus 1, 2 & 3
Let’s start again, I think we could pretend, and start again
Verse 2
Your sickness is your health, you’re living for your wealth
I threw it all away to save myself
Hit reset again, erasing whatever has been
It’s easier to run then to begin
Verse 3
It is not like before, my reaper’s at the door
Everything I did, accounted for
You know it’s not enough, the first time you felt the rush
But time moves on and on, it goes
