Start Again 02:58
Verse 1 There’s nothing wrong with you, and nothing wrong with me If only it were that easy You dig up memories, and bury whatever you please If only it were that easy Chorus 1, 2 & 3 Let’s start again, I think we could pretend, and start again Verse 2 Your sickness is your health, you’re living for your wealth I threw it all away to save myself Hit reset again, erasing whatever has been It’s easier to run then to begin Verse 3 It is not like before, my reaper’s at the door Everything I did, accounted for You know it’s not enough, the first time you felt the rush But time moves on and on, it goes
2.
Verse 1 Live for the moments, die for the rest When your turn is up you’ll think Have you lived out your best Burning desires, may not prevail The postcard you’ve been writing on It was lost in the mail If you care, than care for me I have the time, but time is not free Chorus 1 We don’t ask why, to keep our faith We don’t ask why, to save our face Forever and ever, the quiet shrills Surrounding dark, the silent kill The silence kills Verse 2 Bite down on the bullet, blood is thicker than water Break the ice and then sleep tight You’ve done all you can do If you care, than care for me I’m awake when I’m dreaming If I die before I wake Life will go on make no mistake Chorus 2 We don’t ask why, some people change We don’t ask why, it’s all the same It goes on forever, the quiet shrills Surrounding dark, the silent kill The silence kills The silence kills The silence kills
3.
Verse 1: When a heartache skips a beat, everything else takes a seat Inner circles don’t work out, it’s the truth you’d rather doubt But it’s the hardest thing to do Dying over you won’t bring you back to life Won’t be long now, when you don’t belong now Melodrama is nothing new, so I’m still holding out for you And it’s the hardest thing to do Separating me and you Chorus 1: Ooo, I don’t wanna hurt no more Ooo, when it’s not worth fighting for Verse 2: Lonely people turn to stone, when the numbing sinks into the bone Hidden memories open a time, like a trap caught in your mind And it’s the hardest thing to do The hardest thing to do
4.
Verse 1 I can’t take all the blame, I can’t take all the blame Sometimes I'm going insane, when I think of you Searching for something found, but nothing that is profound Will make any difference, where we stand right now But if I break your heart, I would shatter and fall apart Though it is true what they say, it’s the game we play Chorus 1 Only to be with you, only to be with you Inside my heart, I know it’s true Verse 2 I can take all the pain, I can take all the pain Blood pumps throughout my veins, but can you say the same Sulking away the day, letting it slip away You’re running out of time, you’re running out of time But if I break your heart, I would shatter and fall apart Though it is true what they say, it’s the game we play Chorus 2 Only to be with you, only to be with you Inside my heart, I know it’s true Only to be with you
5.
Take Me Too 03:28
Verse 1 Tragedy, would you take my hand And lead me to the promise land There’s sun shine in your photographs but not much left in the aftermath Chorus 1 I don’t know which way to go No direction down below Oh no, it’s true If you’re leaving, would you take me, take me too Verse 2 Gravity, would you let me down That sinking feeling, beneath the ground If you try to dig your way out now You won’t learn why, you won’t know how Chorus 2 I don’t know how long I’ll go One direction, winding road Oh no, oh no How did you get in this jam Smart question, stupid plan It’s true, it’s true If you’re leaving, would you take me, take me too Chorus 3 I don’t know which way to go No direction down below Oh no, it’s true If you’re leaving, would you take me, take me too If you’re leaving, would you take me, take me too
6.
Now 03:23
Verse 1 Fall in, to place when, someone, tells you to If you, ran your own life, would you know what to do The window, was closing, and time was running out At the, chime of the clock, what was it all about Chorus 1: It’s the long run, that’s the problem You dwell, leaving now Verse 2: Stuck with impulses, ignoring the place you stand in Others are stuck with memories, that forever haunt them Hard to picture the loves you have are not there Twenty-one, gun, a nice goodbye Chorus 2: What about now If you slow down You’ll live forever What would you do Verse 3: When the clock struck, everyone disappeared There’s no more, now, so what was it all about Chorus 3: What about now What about now Live forever Just for today Where you’ve come from Or where you’re going Is right now
7.
Happy People 02:56
Verse 1 I think of old days, when everything was easy and new Now I’m falling in strange with you Bound down by nothing, with wings to fly far far away But I’ll stay Chorus 1 I see all the happy people, where they’ve gone, along with my friends I’ve seen all the happy people, where they’ve gone, and I’m glad Verse 2 Slapped like a bass string, deeper and deeper I move Now I’m living where the monsters do Vicariously living, living is easy through you But won’t do Chorus 2 & 3 I see all the happy people, where they’ve gone, where they go I’ve seen all the happy people, and I’m still, standing here
8.
Lately 02:49
Verse 1 Pay the toll, when you cross the line You’ve come too far to change your mind So just, take some time, and think about it Play the roll they expect of you You got the part whether you wanted to You’ll do just fine, done it a thousand times before Chorus 1 Oh, It’s lately hit or miss When the, time comes you’re off the list Verse 2 You’re in the clouds, living up the hype Breathing out through a dreamers pipe So just, lose control, no sign to follow Chorus 2 Oh, It’s lately hit or miss When the, time comes you are off the list Oh, lately I’m obsessed With forgetting this mess
9.
Oh, Right 03:04
Verse 1 Sometimes it’s easier Erasing where you’ve been Some say it’s easier To choose when to begin With every step that’s made The future is coming through The trail behind is old Ahead is something new Chorus 1 One day I thought Love can not be bought Oh, I was right Verse 2 There is something in your eyes That can help explain the sky All infinity No impossibility Chorus 2 You know it’s true No one else will ever do Oh, you were right Verse 3 To put, you in this song I no I wasn’t wrong I wasn’t wrong To put you in this song Chorus 3 One day I thought Love can not be bought You know it’s true No one else will ever do Oh, you were right Oh, right
10.
Verse 1: I never thought of it when I was young Time escapes when you are on the run Young and dreaming, where thoughts were limitless For the time, you’re awake, and unbound to the world Build: Not so long ago, somehow we made it work Some things stay the same, but look, around, what was the perk Chorus 1 & 2 I saw you there, it was not long ago But time ain’t fair, it only goes to show Days gone by, but a new chapter begins Every book has a start and an end Verse 2: Our friendship changes and begins to stray From white to black we go our separate ways But when we gather, our paths realign For the time, that we make, nothings really changed

about

I started writing songs for Pipe Dream back in the fall of 2012, and it's around 2 years now. The recording processes was between February and March of 2014. Recording the album in a studio for the first time was a fun experience, and by far it sounds better than the homemade quality I used previously. The title of the album speaks for itself really. We all have our ambitious moments of wanting to do something meaningful, but with no illusions of success, it is made in the end for myself and those who appreciate songwriting.
